Los Angeles native Valentino Khan has had a great year in 2012 so far. After branching off from his previous project, Market Price, to work solo, he has proved release after release that he is an extremely talented producer in multiple genres. He’s produced hip hop tracks for T.I., B.o.B., and his track Rukus with Will Bailey received massive support from Diplo, Nadastrom, Dillon Francis and others at the forefront of the Moombahton movement. Most recently, he has been working in the 128 bpm range and has put out big remixes for DJ Craze and The Bloody Beetroots, on Slow Roast Records and Ultra Records respectively. In his most recent tune, Cigarettes, which he describes as, “Hard Hood Techno,” he continues to to take things in a different direction. This hard techno track’s vocal sample and haunting synths are perfect for a club environment. Check out the song below, and head over to Gotta Dance Dirty to download the track.
