Patrick Hagenaar is making some serious waves worldwide. The Dutch up-and-comer, currently based out of London, has been doing work this past year. He’s been putting out tracks on such labels as Recovery House, Magik Muzik, and Black Hole Recordings, in addition to touring worldwide and running a weekly radio show. Renowned for his live sets as much as his productions, Patrick Hagenaar gives us a taste of his latest magic with “Another Chance.” Coming to us courtesy of Work (a label imprint of Spinnin’ Records), Another Chance is actually a rework of an original Roger Sanchez track from 2001. Patrick actually used this track as a bootleg for close to a year before it was picked up and signed by Spinnin’ Records. The track is one hundred percent infectiousness, with a tight vocal sample from Toto guiding the song to anthemic heights. Pulsing synth work gives the track a rhythmic feel, with clap hits and tight cymbals driving the groove ever onward. Set to drop on October 29th, this track sounds like it’s going to be a club feature for a long time to come. Patrick Hagenaar is undoubtedly one to watch.
