2012 has been the year of Tommy Trash, as the skilled Australian has had a meteoric rise through the top of the house ranks with his authentic productions and relentless touring schedule. Fresh off of his monster release “Reload” with Sebastian Ingrosso off Refune (which rose to number one on Beatport), the Trashy one is back with a vengeance for his newest release. “Sunrise (Won’t Get Lost)” is a full-on progressive banger with all the hallmarks of a club anthem. This track is actually a reworked version of original production “Won’t Get Lost” from fellow Aussies The Aston Shuffle, which was released on Plant Music this past May and hit number one on Australia’s “Triple J Radio.” In this rework, Tommy Trash collaborates with The Aston Shuffle, taking the emphatic vocals of the original and laying some monumental synth work on top. Backing chords and the aforementioned vocal work allow the intro to slowly climb to a crescendo, leading to an all-out frenzy. The drop is one hundred percent power, as Tommy Trash keenly shows off his electro side, combining a rip-roaring bassline with a scorching lead that is sure to blow the roof off many a venue. Set to be released on Axwell’s notable label Axtone soon, Sunrise (Won’t Get Lost) is without a doubt poised to become a fixture in the scene upon its release. Stay tuned.
