When you’re performing over 300 live shows a year and running your own record label, it can definitely be difficult to find some quality time in the studio. This may be the case for the one and only Skrillex, but it hasn’t stopped him from recently teasing to some of his newest productions. Just this week, the OWSLA founder was the spotlight BBC Radio 1’s Essential Mix, giving him a platform to showcase the music he thinks the world wants to hear. If you listened to the very end of this 2-hour set of pure awesomeness, then you might have had the same unbelievable experience as I had when “Untitled DJ Tool” was mixed in. Starting out with a signature grimy bassline and explosive dubstep wobbles, Skrillex has once again struck gold. I can even say that this is one of his few recent songs that have fully reminded me of how filthy and amazing his music can actually be. That said, enjoy this unreleased version of “Untitled DJ Tool”, which will hopefully see a release by the end of the summer!
