If you haven’t heard of the up and coming Canadian bass trio, Keys ‘N Krates, it’s about time you’ve stumbled across them. It was a warm summer night back in May when I first heard Grandtheft drop their track, “Dum Dee Dum”, on his epic Diplo & Friends set, and let’s just say it took me less than 30 seconds to realize how massive of a track it was going to be. With what seems like every artist out there giving a shot at trap these days, it’s nice to see some mind-blowing original trap music from the guys who have been producing it for about 5 years now. Above all, in anticipation for their newest EP coming out on Dim Mak Records this fall, the Canadian trio has released “Dum Dee Dum” as a free download thanks to BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac. Be sure to check it out below and look out for more Keys ‘N Krates in the near future!
