Electropop group The Postal Service reunited for one last hurrah, touring across the biggest venues and arenas of the world before calling it quits last night. Lead singer Ben Gibbard tweeted out to the group’s fans that their Lollapalooza and Metro performances would be their last. As reported by Pitchfork, a representative confirmed that it is indeed the band’s last shows. While short lived, their return was appreciated by fans worldwide. The Postal Service will be remembered for their distinct appreciation and inclusion of electronic influenced sounds and themes in the vast majority of their releases, thus we feel that it is pertinent to report on the group’s final disbanding
Hey Chicago, these @PostalService shows at Lollapalooza and Metro will be our very last. Please come celebrate with us!
