Coming off of a huge release of “Boneless” with Steve Aoki and Tujamo, Chris Lake drops this outstanding original “Helium” featuring gorgeous vocals from Jareth, on Ultra Music.
Recently I’ve been having trouble finding a progressive house track that doesn’t sound like 8 billion other tracks out there, duplicating the same sounds, same samples, builds, drops – should I keep going? For some reason, though it does sound similar to other tracks out now, this seemed to really pop out and grasp a hold of my attention.
The vocalist reminds me slightly of Sia, who sang over “Titanium” by David Guetta, an extremely unheard of and not played out song. That being said, I think the melody was also something that pulled me in. I’m a sucker for guitars or any live instruments for that matter and this song provides just a small hint of guitar which is good enough for me.
Have a go at it and if it’s something worthy enough of being in your iTunes, don’t be afraid to support and purchase the track
