Headhunterz and Audiofreq are both known for their extraordinary ability to create unique and heavy hard-style tracks. However, this new preview of “Breakout” is much more synth driven and a divergence of style from what we are used to from the hard-style kings. With the entertaining videos and sneak peaks that Headhunterz and Audiofreq have brought us over the past several weeks, I’m excited for what their collaboration has spawned. While “Breakout” might not be the style that most long-time fans are used to, or yearning for, a change to such a melodically influenced track for these two is both impressive and refreshing; regardless of what anyone says, their production skills continue to amaze. Be sure to look for this track’s release on Ultra Records via beatport on March 7th.
