The Red Bull Music Academy will be debuting their own stage at this year’s Bonnaroo Music Festival held June 13th-14th to keep the party going late into the night. On both Friday & Saturday evening, the Sonic Stage in Centeroo is set to turn into the Red Bull Music Academy Stage where artists such as Dirty South hip-hop originator and RBMA lecturer Mannie Fresh and New York house music icon Francois K will take over. The RBMA participants are also being featured for music and interviews on Bonaroo Radio 101.5 FM and RBMA Radio from 7-9 pm June 12-15th. Tune in here to listen from home!
Bonnaroo & RBMA have also partnered to sponsor the RBMA Bass Camp, which includes a public lecture with Mannie Fresh on the Solar Stage, and will be hosted by Jeff “Chairman” Mao on Saturday from 12:30-1:30pm. The Bass Camp, which is designed for local up and coming music producers to inspire creativity and collaboration through workshops and studio sessions, will also be hosting private lectures by Thundercat, Francois K, Vance Powell, and more for the 20 hand-selected participants.
“The inspiring three-day program functions as a miniature version of the full Red Bull Music Academy experience, set to take part in Tokyo later this year.”
The RBMA experience is in contract to participate at Bonnaroo for five years, so you get to enjoy their festivities until 2018!
