Up until today, only the attendants and the artists at this year’s Ultra Music Festival in South Africa witnessed the emotion, power, and awesomeness that came from those two days. However, the Final Kid film crew and UMF TV have come together once again to show the rest of world the incredible action-packed weekend they missed and to help those who went relive the experience.
Back in February of this year, fans had the opportunity to see performances and live acts from the likes of Blasterjaxx, W&W, Martin Garrix, Krewella, Claude Vonstroke, Nicky Romero, Alesso, Afrojack, and Tiësto with the Ultra experience that has been shared across the world. Between the fields of Cape Town to the Nasrec Expo Center of Johannesburg, the Friday and Saturday were captured on film by the same team that has delivered Ultra after movies since 2012 and the after movies of premiere events such as Gumball 3000, Burning Man, and more recently A Party 424 Meter Under The Sea (presented by David Guetta). Much like there impressive portfolio and the after movies of the UMF franchise, Ultra South Korea was shown with stunning, high-definition shots of the beaches of South Africa and kicks off with beautiful visuals that compliment the fans, musicians, and the structures of lights and sound. We also get some insight from South Africa natives Dominic Peters and David Poole of Goldfish, talking about what their homeland means to them and music they make as they catch some waves.
This video ends with the revelation of the dates for next year’s UMF South Africa. The second annual event will be held February 13th and 14th in 2015 and has yet to announce the lineup until a closer date.
