Yesterday, R3HAB uploaded a preview of a track, a collaboration with Calvin Harris slated for release on his upcoming album Motion. The track is different from what Harris has previously shown to be his style, but still has the generic sound that will be sure to get it a lot of plays on main stages across the world. To be frank, while Calvin Harris is not the most innovative of producers, his past releases and singles have showcased his ability to forge melodic anthems. This collaboration with R3HAB on the other hand, illustrates a boring, overplayed, uninspired style that’ll prove to be the low point of his upcoming album.
Pre-order Motion HERE.
Finally! An edm blog that shares its honest view on tracks and doesn’t kiss DJ’s butts for attention. You guys are doing it right.
personally i like it
Most people will automatically “hate” this track because of the Big Room style.
Its really surprising to me how many artists today are totally unwilling to push the envelope and make something completely new and off the charts.Calvin Harris has all the resources he could ever want. Anyone will work with him at this point. And he makes the same music every fucking time. What a joke.

More of the same. Still waiting for the return of disco harris.
Calvin Harris musical creativity had long gone divorced from him years ago. Gone are the days we heard his quirky musical style like in “The Girls”, “Acceptable in The 80s”, “Flashback”. In front of us right now is the generic bland Calvin Harris who keep thinking about making much dollars than actually making his own style of music.
Honestly I like this track most of the “newbies” won’t like it like that didn’t like C. U. B. A But it still doesn’t mean it falls short… Maybe just to one editor but not to everyone.
i dislike it because i just dislike it , theres a few songs from calvin i dislike , still a fan though. still good to see honest stuff
Also, summer and blame are overplayed and generic. I miss the old calvin
Joshua Figueroa, you are not better than anyone else and the fact that you have to throw out numbers to make yourself look more “experienced” in the scene only makes you look like more of an asshole. And don’t assume people who like this type of music don’t know anything about dance music. To each their own. It’s funny to me that someone who has as much “experience” in a scene that is mostly about love and acceptance would be so close-minded.
What the fuck? Why do people like Avicci’s Hey Brother, but don’t like this? First off, this is a different genre to Mr. Cal, and he is doing it better than I had even expected.
But everyone has ears like they do butts, so stash your opinions in the latter Mr. YOUREDM.
The track sucks because it gives me sweet NOTHING in terms of chills. A 14 y/o could do this with the right equipment. But then again the focus group of this music is 14 y/o kids so I should not hate.
yea i completely agree, i can barely hear Harris’s style underneath all that hard hitting club banger R3hab. I love how Youredm actually shared their opinion in the article.
‘Uninspiring’?
How can you say that?.. But you are entitled to an opinion.
I think it’s a fine production and poised to do well. Keep em comin pal!
Yeah of late I love Calvin’s productions…..C.U.B.A makes my intestines quiver….but this better no t be the next track on the cd that follows CUBA
Sounds like something someone slightly proficient at fl studios made a song, or Calvin Harris on a lazy day
He’s getting worse and worse.. shame he used to consistently release huge tracks one after the other
its the typical R3hab sound. always sounding the same. looking forward to the other tracks from the album.
Not the greatest song ever by any means but I’ve heard much much worse – I’m even going to listen to it a second time!
i’ve been a fan of Calvin Harris and I freaking love this song!!! it’s so his style of partying, yeahhh!
Disappointed in Calvin because “I created disco” was fucking amazing
I’ll be honest, I’d rather he put things out like this than Blame. What a disappointment that was.
this song is complete garbage along with most big room commercial edm.
We all know when the track drops we’re going to love it !! #chillout
It was okay. I liked it. WAY better than C.U.B.A that’s for sure.
I kinda like it (and I’m not even a Big Room fan). IDK, it has good energy, at least, I guess
It sounds more R3HAB than Calvin, in my opinion…
I actually kinda like this!
Your review disappoints more than the song
what a boring tune!
Biased much?
It’s really bad
I like it
what can you expect from a guy like r3hab?, i personally think that he is a bad producer…
Good music, I like music of Calvin!
I don’t like the R3HAB version, so bored…
actually this is pretty good and yes it not his style big deal
I think everythink is fine with producing big room. I just don’t like that boring drop. There is nothing special about it. The melodie and the build up are fine, but the drop is just boring as fu*k.
seems like “Let’s get ridiculous” of Redfoo ..
Harris made a song like this allready and its called c.u.b.a and i like electro house so suck it
