I love music that takes the best of two genres and just smashes them together. This is exactly what Vegas producer and remixer Meaux Green does with “Work” by Trap Lord A$AP Ferg. Previously, Meaux Green has remixed such major names such as Rick Ross, RiFF RAFF, and Flosstradamus, while collaborating with such names as Caked Up, D!RTY AUD!O, Tropkillaz, and Party Favor. He has even gone on to have his music released on Mad Decent, Megaton Records, and most recently Fool’s Gold and Ultra Music. Now he shows his solo remixing talent on this massive track.

This remix of “Work” is an excellent combination of big room house and trap. Horns follow each kick and when you least expect it, a snare attack spins this song from it’s 128 bpm into a 140 bpm block-party hit. However, it doesn’t stop there. Meaux Green unleashes A$AP Ferg’s lyrics that flow in line with the same production you’d expect to hear from an A$AP Mob track. As the remix comes close to the end, it jumps right back into the big room swing of things and ends on the same trap note delivering the chills that trap music creates for fans.

For such a top-notch remix, this gem is available from Meaux Green’s SoundCloud for free. Stream it to see if this rocking tune is what you need before the weekend strikes.
