Steve Angello‘s label has a fierce roster of artists releasing tremendous tunes. Names including AN21, Third Party, Max Vangeli, and Junior Sanchez have delivered bigger-than-life music time and time again and continue to do so on the label. Alongside these producers, a duo that stands just as tall are Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman. However, their latest release to Size Records comes with a lazy title, but above-par production.
Welcome “ID2”; a main-stage level progressive house song that comes from progressive house’s finest producers. Unlike many of their previous originals, this song shows Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman without vocal assistance and is completely dependent on their solo production skill, much like their songs “Roll The Dice” and “Russia”. Although this track sacrifices the tenacious power the electro beat they have created in past productions, it defines its true strength through the fusion of the synths with the melody. In short, “ID2” may not be the strongest weapon DV&W have crafted, but it still packs a formidable punch.
