The ranking is based on ticket searches across Viagogo’s 55 online global websites. The company further reported that it witnessed a 157% rise in overall ticket demand year over year. So who came in number one? ID&T’s ever growing and famous Tomorrowland. Even though the lineup has yet to be released and the festival is taking place in July, there has been unparalleled interest in the 3-day Belgium event. Here’s what a Viagogo spokesperson told NME on the increasing popularity of international and foreign festivals:

“Music fans typically stave off the January blues by snapping up tickets to see their favourite acts and this year it looks like many are planning to combine their summer holidays with a trip to a foreign festival.”
