Cashmere Cat is hitting North America in a big way this winter/spring. After being listed on lineups for Ultra Music Festival and Coachella this year, Magnus Høiberg is hitting the road at the end of the month. Without a doubt, 2014 proved to his biggest year yet; not only did he appear on select dates of Mad Decent Block Party, but his skills as a producer have been invaluable. His collaboration with Ludacris, Wiz Khalifa, and Jeremih on “Party Girls” led to more projects with even bigger artists, such as Ariana Grande. While he’ll be directly supporting her on the North American leg of her Honeymoon Tour, he’ll be pulling double shifts and playing his own club shows later each night as well starting February 25 in Kansas City. Cashmere Cat’s touring schedule a big step in the right direction for dance music. As more incredible producers make their way onto mainstream mega-tours, the bridge between pop and EDM grows stronger and stronger.
