Kelsey Saunders, known by her alias non sequitur., has been a household name in the EDM scene for years across the San Francisco Bay Area. With her roots originally in punk and indie dance, she draws inspiration from diverse sources to compose her own fresh sound. Her unique style of heavy, melodic electro is prime for the dancefloor, and her new single sets the perfect mood leading into Miami Music Week.

The track, titled “American So-And-So”, opens with a groovy melody that transports you straight to a sun-soaked retro pool party, piña colada in hand. The catchy, disco-esque beat gradually builds up and bursts into a pure electro drop, and then seamlessly floats back into the relaxing, tropical poolside. Mechanical vocal samples placed throughout also add another level of charm to the tune.
