The time for Modestep’s sophomore album London Road to drop is drawing ever closer. So far, the two tracks we’ve heard from it, “Machines” and “Snake”, have been heavily rock-influenced tunes with stunning guitar work and hard breakdowns.
For their third single, they switch things up. Enter collaborator Partysquad, one of about a dozen collaborators on the album, for a hard moombah tune that perfectly represents Modestep’s sound in an unfamiliar territory. “Rainbow” perfectly encapsulates Modestep’s creative vision on this album by not stepping out of their box, but rather stretching it to its limits.
London Road is out May 25th. Pre-order > po.st/LDNRD
