Electronic music once again gets put under the gun, this time by rock legend Paul McCartney. During his headlining performance at Lollapalooza on Friday night, the 73 year-old Beatle encountered some unfortunate sound bleed from Kaskade’s adjacent set. He took the incident in stride, making a quip at at the clashing genres before playing his ode to John Lennon, “Here Today.”
It was a welcome remark to set the EDM star in his place, considering Kaskade’s bold claim that at “[his] numbers will rival Paul McCartney and The Weeknd.” Fans from both sides of the musical spectrum thought it to be a hilarious occasion, and we have to commend McCartney for being so lighthearted about it.
@kaskade that moment when Paul McCartney complains that Kaskade is too LOUD! Good Times!

Paul McCartney just hilariously ripped on Kaskade. Said his song will be a mashup of his own “and whatever s*** they’re playing over there.”
