The 2015 Game Awards will take place early next month in Los Angeles, pitting the year’s best video games against one another to determine the community’s favorites. From game soundtracks to developers to eSports players, nearly every aspect of the gaming world will be categorized and judged.

In spirit of the gaming festivities, it’s no surprise that the awards show reached out to Deadmau5 for a performance during its live broadcast. As a longtime and outspoken gamer himself, it’s only fitting that he be part of the spectacle. He will be joined by Chvrches.
