According to several posts on his Twitter and Instagram accounts this morning, Martin Garrix will be cancelling his headlining performance tonight at UK festival Creamfields.
His post on Instagram describes an incident in which his jet had a run-in with a bird, causing he and his team to change airports at the last minute so that they would still be able to use the plane. The Ibiza airport, Garrix said, would not let his jet land, so they headed toward Palma Mallorca, Spain instead. After waiting at the Mallorca aiport for nearly an hour and a half, Garrix said that there was no way for them to make the performance, forcing him to cancel.
What Creamfields will do to replace such a monumental headliner is yet to be seen.
