Earlier this year, Martin Garrix veered from the usual path in his career trajectory with an experimental step towards the mainstream. Teaming up with vocalist Bebe Rexha, the two combined sweeping future bass production with undeniably memorable lyrics to create the radio’s next big hit, “In The Name Of Love.” Having from come roots far more grounded in traditional EDM, Martin’s move to burst into the mainstream field was met with open arms.
Now, the track has finally been given the official remix treatment by a wide assortment of production talent.
DallasK, notorious collaborator of Hardwell and Tiësto, took the gentle melodies of the original and flipped them into a joyous, upbeat heater complete with brand new breakdowns and soaring melodic phrases.
Amsterdam pair The Him directed their own approach towards a heavier and more club-oriented house banger, featuring infectious percussion grooves and chopped up vocals.
Finally, Snavs wraps up the remix EP with a stripped down, atmospheric take on the original. With spectrum-wide synth stabs and immense percussion, an entirely new emotional level is achieved.
