East coast residents woke up to some excellent news today indeed with the exciting announcement that Governors Ball will be back for 2017 with an absolutely svelte lineup. As always, Founders Entertainment has found the perfect blend of rock, hip-hop, pop, and dance with a well-curated lineup that should draw crowds from all over.
The festival will return to Randall’s Park New York over three days from June 2nd to 4th, 2017.
Featuring a headlining trio of Chance The Rapper, Tool, and Phoenix, the lineup also has its fair share of dance music with Flume and Marshmello billed only a line or two (if you’re Mello) below. Joining them will be RÜFÜS DU SOL, Gryffin, Saint Motel, Jenaux and more. While not necessarily ‘dance’, Tove Lo, BANKS, and Lorde have all gained a significant following in the dance music world due to a slew of dance-leaning remixes of their work – all three will also be in attendance!
Tickets will go on sale Friday, January 6th at 12 Eastern.
