Since Tiësto’s birthday a little over a week ago, it seems that the legendary Dutch producer has been undergoing a quiet rebrand. It was made clearest to us yesterday, when he tweeted a video of his old logo jacket on fire, with the caption, “Out with the old…”

A day after his birthday, on the 18th, Tiësto shared merch featuring a new logo. Seen below, the new logo is on the left and the old is on the right: gone are the classically rounded letters, and the umlaut embedded within the ‘e’; it’s been replaced by a very simple block font with the umlaut clearly displayed.

Finally, his recent collaboration with Bright Sparks, “On My Way,” is a tropical-esque house tune (not to be confused with actual tropical house), featuring a tight melody and horn line – unfortunately, there’s really not much of Tiësto to be heard in the track, at least not in any way that we can recognize.
Clearly, Tiësto is gearing up for 2017 in a big way with new music and a new flavor to his artist brand. We’re very intrigued and eager to see what else he has planned for the coming year.
