On the heels of his last EP, Michael Mason is back again with another heater. This certified hood classic will have your trap arms going in no time. The big subs and well sampled horns provides K. Flay’s “Blood In The Cut” a completely new take.
Keeping the guitar riff and vocals intact, Mason sets the stage for the ensuing bass madness. Tensions is built as percussive elements and a distant horn pad rattled in the background. Horns cut through followed by one of the most unique synths I’ve heard. The first drop represents a new direction for Mason, while the second has elements found more traditionally in Mason’s tracks. Combined with well timed percussive snaps and clicks, this track will surely be a party sensation.
