Steve Aoki just dropped word of a complete rebrand this year, and he’ll be introducing the new identity with a brand new EP.
So far, he’s revealed that the release will feature collaborations with Lil Uzi Vert, Migos, and T-Pain, which Aoki is combining with trap/EDM production. The tracks are sure to be live hits at the very least, even if they don’t gain the widespread success of “Just Hold On” with Louis Tomlinson.
“When I work with a singer sometimes it’s just me and a singer, you know and its got a different energy. So with this new brand, this new identity, I want the shows to be, you know, not just about Steve Aoki it’s about me and my friends mobbing the stage and having fun, and the EP’s got that kind of energy.”
