Mat Zo has gone through a lot of genres in his career, from producing DnB under the MRSA moniker, to moving on and making trance, electrohouse, dubstep and more as his more well-known alias. But according to a few tweets let loose yesterday, his trance making days were full of turmoil.
“I made all that euphoric trance stuff from a place of pure dispare[sic],” he wrote. Continuing on that trance tends to attract emotionally “damaged” people because of its stimulating healing qualities.
He left off by saying that if he ever ends up making a ton of trance again, we should “start worrying about [his] emotional state.”
I made all that euphoric trance stuff from a place of pure dispare, I'm in a better place in my life now

Trance attracts emotional damaged people because it has a euphoric healing quality like a stimulant. That’s why I made it
