Streaming service Soundcloud announced today it will temporarily offer a $1 deal on three months of premium access, coming as an unprecedented and startlingly cheap opportunity for users.
Critics of the announcement suggest that this move was done out of Soundcloud’s desperation to attract more paying subscribers in the wake of competitors Spotify, Apple Music and others.
Soundcloud Go+ gives subscribers complete access to the service’s base of millions of songs, including the tracks usually blocked by country restrictions. To take advantage of the offer and shell $1 for three months of exclusive access, click here.
