Fans everywhere are still mourning the loss of Chester Bennington, lead singer for Linkin Park, who died by suicide last Thursday morning. Between fresh playlists on Spotify and surely all the Linkin Park merch in the world selling out, fans have been showing their support in any way that they can. If you’re an artist, however, you have a slightly bigger platform to work with… like the main stage of a music festival.
This past weekend, Dutch duo Showtek closed out their main stage set at Parookaville in Germany with Linkin Park’s “In The End,” set to a montage of photos of Chester. At one point, they turn the music down and the crowd proceeds to finish the song acapella in an incredible moment of community and togetherness.
