GRiZ just announced his annual GRiZMAS performances to be held at Detroit’s Masonic Temple December 15th and 16th. The event series has become an essential date in the midwest holiday calendar, offering the dance music community a way to give back through the lens of one of its most prevalent stars.
This news follows shortly after the announcement of GRiZ’s Good Will Continue Fall Tour with stops in Washington DC, San Francisco, Portland, and more, celebrating his standout album and remix package alike. In addition, GRiZ is fresh off the release of his ever-popular Chasing the Golden Hour II mixtape which was a smash for fans worldwide.
Earlier this month, GRiZ debuted his 14-piece live band on the first night of his double header sold out shows at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The live band will be making its much anticipated return at fan-favorite GRiZMAS on December 15th only.
GRiZMAS coalesced into a 12-day fundraising event named 12 Days of GRiZMAS, with a purpose of raising money for Little Kids Rock, a national non profit that provides funding for music education in public schools; the fundraiser has gathered over $30,000 to this day. GRiZ and his label All Good Records were honored with the Spirit of Detroit award by the Detroit City Council who stated that “GRiZ is not only a staple in electronic music, but a staple in the City of Detroit.”
Presale tickets are on sale now, general public on sale goes live on Friday, 9/29 at 10am EST.
