1. Dan Sieg- Gloom (Kobana Remix) [Silk Royal]

When Kobana first kicked off his musical career, he was well entrenched into true Progressive with timeless classics such as The First Attempt and Reload; but lately, he has gone deeper and further into the rabbit hole with productions ranging from Techno to Deep Progressive. In this unreleased remix of Dan Sieg‘s single, Gloom, (off of his A Sense Of Wonder debut album), this master continues Sieg‘s journey with a beautiful rendition of Deep House and Progressive with an absolutely spellbinding piano melody that’ll stop you in its tracks with its gorgeous melodies and breathless, underwater atmosphere. Masterful.

2. Julien Dep- Will Be Unattainable (Robert R. Hardy Remix) [Mistique Music]

I’m a HUGE fan of Robert R. Hardy‘s works, and his stellar remix of Julien Dep‘s Will Be Unattainable is only fitting for one of the best Deep Progressive labels on the planet, Mistique Music. In this rendition, sub bass rules supreme with a lushiously atmospheric landscape that focuses on Deep House aesthetics with thematic fields and endless landscapes as the pull of infinite possibilities reigns throughout the swirling vortex that contains the undying thoughts of Mr. Hardy. Definitely a track to consider for any Deep House gig.

3. David Penn & Rober Gaez- Non Stop Rockin’ (Original Mix) [Urbana Recordings]

While we focused on pure Deep House tracks on the last two singles, we now take a left turn into some familiar territory while keeping it old school with the rip rocking single by David Penn and Rober Gaez entitled Non Stop Rockin’. Here, grit hits the grease with some good old fashioned block beats with chunky, vinyl instrumentation and a particularly skanky combination between pitched vocals and a bouncy, bubbly bassline. I absolutely love the clash between past and present, as it sounds like a twisted rework off of a classic, reliable record of old.

4. Stephen J. Kross- Neuro (Cut Knob Remix) [Axon Recordings]

Most known for their stellar Deep Progressive sound, the wondrous sonic world of Stephen J Kross and Cut Knob do their best to deliver an entire, mystical soundscape into the realm of Deep with their expertly majestic artistry. However, for this mix, Cut Knob went into another sonic direction by opting to tap into his naughty Techno side, and the result is a bit out of the usual norm of  standard warehouse choons. Here, mysterious warbles and tension filled phrases add suspense and dread throughout the chunky grooves and mezmerizing rhythms, and the added vocals create an almost ritualistic tone that purveys throughout the remainder of the track.

5. Arado & Bimas- My Art & My Soul (Original Mix) [Desolat]

Fresh off of the hotly anticipated Desolat sampler, the chaotic minds of Martin Buttrich and Loco Dice continue to astound listeners with their Dusseldorf centralized label that shines a spotlight on some of the best in underground Techno. Along with a surprising melodic Techno entry by DJ Chuckie entitled Abu Dhabi Joint, this other collaboration by veiled producers Arado and Bimas entitled My Art & My Soul have proved to be a colossal new track that is sure to rip up dancefloors with a handful of cut throat razor blades. Featuring a nonstop barrage of relentless Techno beats and cruel, gutless edge/drive, this is sure to keep the place rocking long into the morning hours.

6. Yan Oxygen- Last Orchestra (Original Mix) [This Is Hot]

For a record label that’s called ‘This Is Hot‘, they have managed to release one of the most mature Techno works that I’ve heard to date with the sensationally atmospheric Techno single by Yan Oxygen entitled Last Orchestra. Featuring a mysterious, brooding opening filled with all kinds of subtle touches to an explosive ending that is heavily steeped into old school melodies, this track is definitely the highlight of the week that continues to intrigue me with each and every listen. The first release into the bass fueled drop is definitely not one to be missed!
