If the calendar didn’t say February, I wouldn’t have guessed we were still in the thick of winter with how the weather in California has been lately. While the rest of the country is mired in a slew of winter storms, California is the lone exception, much like Jamaica’s OMI, who is making some serious waves with his music.

You may recognize OMI as the man behind the original version of Felix Jaehn’s “Cheerleader” that has dominated the radio airwaves since the track dropped, but now, he’s unveiled the next remix from his debut album, ME 4 U, by the up-and-coming house star, Bergs. On the remix, Bergs keeps OMI’s uplifting croons as organic as possible, laying down a blend of soaring piano melodies and complex synth arrangements that makes this track an early frontrunner for hit of the year.
