From Coachella to Ultra to The Flying Dutch and everywhere in between, we have been witness to some absolutely phenomenal performances in EDM this year. With EDC Las Vegas fast approaching, we have decided to look back on the past 6 months to revisit our favorite sets and ultimately crown a king before going into the second half of 2016.

It was an easy decision, at that, with Knife PartyPendulum‘s incredible finale at Ultra in March trending around the world and for good reason. Although we have yet to hear any more news from their camp about the predicted Pendulum reunion tour, this hour-and-15-minute finale is worth revisiting time and time again in anticipation of their eventual return.

Aside from Pendulum, Knife Party themselves put on one helluva show and we’ll notch them right behind deadmau5 as the third best set of the festival. When you combine KP & Pendulum, though, there’s no doubt that no other artist has yet to beat them this year; not Calvin Harris, not even Flume. But with EDC fast approaching, we hope that changes for the benefit of festival season. In the meantime, relive their incredible b2b performance below, deadmau5 guest appearance and all.
