We’re finally here, folks. Today, the final official remix for DJ Snake & Justin Bieber’s “Let Me Love You” drops, and it’s from none other than Zedd. With previous iterations being offered up by Tiësto, Marshmello and Don Diablo, Zedd’s final addition makes this one of the strongest remix packages of 2016.

While the other remixes generally followed a pretty standard production – deep house, future bass, house – Zedd’s remix is uniquely unable to be classified. With sharp, staccato synths and an Eastern rhythm that breaks away from any of the “Lean On” trends in 2016, layered on top of a choir of voices amidst the original vocals from Bieber, this is undoubtedly one of the more unique productions of the year. But even then, it’s still completely Zedd. Fans of his album True Colors will be able to find clear parallels between the album and this remix, down to the drum rolls and the choice of synths.

If there’s anything to be said about this track, it’s that the arrangement is an experiment and it seems to have worked out brilliantly, at least in our opinion. For others, the remix is definitely drawing mixed reactions. After a leak appeared on reddit yesterday, many comments were either confused about what they were listening to or just downright didn’t like it.

People talk about how a track grows on you the more you listen to it, Zedd’s remix is probably the perfect example. Listen for yourself below.
