Here’s another banger from Fool’s Gold’s Clubhouse series to get you in the mood for the weekend! Last week, I told you about Jesse Marco, the NYC native who’s been a major influencer as a fashion world (he’s worked with designers Tom Ford & Alexander Wang as well as Vanity Fair & GQ just to name a few). He delivered an upbeat, soulful remix to Jamie xx’s “Good Times,” and now he’s already back with other NYC native Fool’s Gold Records. “Bum Bum” sounds exactly how the name suggests; this ass-shaking anthem has a dancehall groove in the bassline, to add to what sounds like a tribal vocal sample throughout the breakdown. But Jesse Marco still makes this a jam not only accessible for the clubs, but for any rowdy pool parties coming up during festival season. Another impressive feat for Marco & Fool’s Gold, who each continue to have their finger on the pulse of quality dance music.
