Drumsound & Bassline Smith. A trio partially responsible for the upbringing of an entire genre. Dons of the drum and bass world and masterminds behind the massive dance floor label Technique Recordings, the men themselves stop by just ahead of their largest singles to date on Playaz Recordings. With a double-barreled single equipped with both “Cobra” and “Testify,” the three have proven once again to be an irreplaceable force in the DnB scene. They also stopped by for a quick word on their insider’s insight on who will be taking over our beloved scene as the year unfolds.
Fade
This guy is tipped for the top, he’s based in Wroclaw, Poland but is originally from Ukraine. He’s had releases on Renegade Hardware, Beta and Hospital to name a few. This versatile producer can go from liquid funk to neuro & has skills to go with a great sense of musicality. We’re looking forward to releasing some of his material.
Polaris
A talented producer from Canada, expect big things from him in 2016 with releases on Technique & Hospital planned and collabs with Stranjah & Schematic. From funky dreamy liquid funk to straight up dance floor power liquid!
Funtcase
Although an already established superstar in Dubstep, his DnB productions are becoming much more frequent with some serious skills under his belt combined with his energy and passion for the music – it will definitely be interesting to see what he brings to the table in 2016.
Malux
AKA Skope (a producer who’s been on the circuit for some years now), Malux is his new alias concentrating on the techy neuro side of Drum & Bass. A free download ‘Krokodil” (feat. Crissy Criss & Erb ’N’ Dub) is available & a brilliant debut release on Bad Taste showing a slight taste of his technical prowess, wicked stuff. Look out for his collab with Erb N Dub on Technique soon!
