Almost 4 months ago, I wrote an opinion piece on how the Cube will forever be Deadmau5’s greatest stage design, and the follow-up cage just didn’t match up. Joel’s response was… tepid.
Running out of shit to write about I guess. https://t.co/5EoxXp6o6J

Almost 4 months later, Joel is sharing concept designs for a Cube v2, so I guess I can say “I told you so.”
Deadmau5 is creating the cube using Unreal Engine, software most commonly seen in applications with video games like DmC: Devil May Cry and Gears Of War. However, its application can also be used in VR construction and design (along with Maya), like how deadmau5 is choosing to use it currently.

We also have a very loose idea of when this design is going to drop – not before Spring Awakening, at least.
i doubt it… it's a LOT of work to do… engineering / building / rigging / testing / rehearsing. worth it tho https://t.co/A3xCQhaGx1

A VR concert of mau5 in the future also doesn’t seem like a far off impossibility, which is pretty awesome.
well, the way were currently developing this… that doesnt seem like an impossibility at all. https://t.co/AcWLnpZflv
