While we still wait for 100% confirmation of the new Coachella stage called “Sonora,” the music and arts festival has revealed news about an incredible art installation that will be making Indio its home for two weeks.
Dubbed “The Antarctic,” the installation is a 360° audio/visual experience within a massive, projection-mapped dome. Based on the visuals and rendering seen below (provided by Coachella on their website), there will be a variety of different landscapes and environments you will be immersed in, both digital and real – or as real as you can get.
The Antarctic is open day and night and is accessible from both Camping and the Venue, so you’ll always be able to take a rest and enjoy the sights and sounds.
