Festival season lineups are coming! Coachella dropped last week, Bottlerock just dropped this morning, Bonnaroo and Boston Calling are expected imminently. But aside from Bottlerock, Governors Ball in NYC also just dropped this morning, and it’s definitely an interesting collection of artists.
Perhaps the most glaring comparison between the three major festival lineups out thus far is that no fair comparison can be made. Between Coachella, Bottlerock, and Govs Ball, the lineups are all wildly different. With regards specifically to Coachella and Govs Ball, there’s very little overlap. Aside from The 1975, Gesaffelstein, Sheck Wes, and a handful of others, it will be an entirely different musical experience.
Tyler, The Creator, Florence + The Machine, and The Strokes will serve as headliners for the three-day festival. They’ll be supported by Lil Wayne, Brockhampton, Major Lazer, Zhu, Louis The Child, Kaytranada, and more.
Governors Ball goes down May 31 to June 2 at Randall’s Island Park in NYC — tickets are available now.
