The one and only Fedde Le Grand is back with an absolute banger of a tune. “Like We Do” is sure to take the festival circuit by storm this summer as it fuses elements of old school big room with a fresher and more nuanced electro and house drop. Not only is this just a wonderful track, it’s also the soundtrack to The Sound of Tomorrow. This is essentially TomorrowLand’s version of Insomniac’s Discovery Project, giving up and coming producers the chance to perform at TomorrowLand, and in this case, provide an official remix for “Like We Do.”
“Like We Do” opens up like a cross between early 2010’s style Swedish House Mafia and Wolfgang Gartner with a deep organ chord progression matched up with some electro synths. There’s a robotic sounding vocal chop that repeats, “Nobody does it like we do.” From there, the more modern production elements take over, and you get a bouncy house riff that’s perfect for the mainstage in 2019. The legendary Dutch producer/DJ was focused on a dance floor track, for this one, and it shows. Here’s what Fedde had to say about “Like We Do.”
“I created ‘Like We Do’ with The Sound Of Tomorrow search in mind. As an artist you have to find your own voice rather than trying to imitate something that’s already out there. That’s kind of the fearless confidence boost I hope the track gives off, and I can’t wait to play this out across all summer festivals!”
