Shazam, the company behind the identification app for smartphones, has just released its predictions for the top 10 tracks of the summer. Last year, the company accurately predicted that Gotye’s Somebody That I Used to Know would be number 1. This time around, with currently 4 million tags and currently sitting at number 1 in 91 countries, is… you guessed it, Daft Punk’s Get Lucky. Coming in a relatively close second, is Passenger’s Let Her Go, with 3.8 million tags. In all honesty, this should come as no surprise considering the amount of marketing and promotion put into this song. From radio air play, to SNL ads, Daft Punk’s Get Lucky has hit a wide demographic and seemed to have successfully piked people’s interests. Let us know your thoughts on the rest of the Top 10 list.
1. Get Lucky, Daft Punk
2. Let Her Go, Passenger
3. I Love It, Icona Pop
4. Blurred Lines, Robin Thicke
5. Fall Down, will.i.am with Miley Cyrus

It’s getting so over played…
Wasn’t “I Love It” released over a year ago?
Lol I love how “alive” was released like what 11 months ago or something? I LOVED IT BACK THEN. hehe
I think “white noise” by disclosure can make it on this list.
