Throughout each of their respective careers, Kaskade and R3hab have explored the many facets of EDM with their rapidly changing sounds and increasing curiosity towards musical direction. While Kaskade has been known to create anything from brilliantly deep tunes to powerful anthems, R3hab‘s journey has been from Tech House to Dirty Dutch and recently onto Electro.  Now, both have decided to combine their forces with their remix of Dan Black’s newest single, Hearts. Their remix takes the best of both worlds and ties them together ties to create an unusual, but incredibly powerful production. The main high synths pair nicely with the underlying bassline, which work in tandem in order to accentuate the heartfelt vocals of vocalist, Kelis.

Both versions were released via Ultra Records, and the remix is already receiving more attention than before. Even though there were high hopes for this exciting collaboration, it has received mixed reviews so far. The remix is a festival driven track that might be upsetting to fans of the original, while others, such as fans of both artists, absolutely love it. Give it a few listens, let the track have its trial runs, and let us know what you think.
