Christmas is here, and one of EDM’s most iconic artists decided to spread some holiday cheer for not only the fans but a number of charities as well. Skrillex unveiled a new remix of his track “Stranger,” remixed by the man himself and now featuring Tennyson and White Sea. The remix released in tandem with a charity effort, which asks fans to donate any amount they choose to download the song in mp3, FLAC, and other formats. 100 percent of proceeds generated from this campaign will be split among Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Bridges For Music, and Jhamtse Gatsal Children’s Community.
A brand new music video released to accompany the remix, filled with war-torn imagery juxtaposed with an uplifting message, and even a rare music video appearance from Skrillex as well. The remix itself finds Skrillex exploring a softer side to his music, a fitting choice given his decision to release the remix and music on Christmas.
