Not too long ago, Google Play revealed their top songs of the summer, and now Spotify is doing the same. One platform is obviously more popular than the other, but according to these results, listening patterns really don’t vary that much from one service to another.

Calvin Harris, Desiigner, The Chainsmokers and Drake are as ubiquitous as ever, showing up in both the Global and US Top 10 songs of the summer; Sia places 6 spots higher globally than she did in the US, possibly a sign of our country’s love for commercial pop radio, demonstrated by Drake having 3 of the top 5 songs in the US, behind Rihanna and a Calvin Harris track with… Rihanna.

The SeeB remix of “I Took A Pill In Ibiza” shows up once again in another list this year, proving its longevity and mass appeal.

Those interested in listening to the full playlists can hit play on the U.S.-specific ranking, or the international edition, both of which have 25 tracks queued up.
