Contrary to recent reports from some publications (that have since amended or removed their coverage), Tomorrowland is not adding a festival destination in Spain in 2016. To be fair, we can’t really fault the teams for not knowing that December 28th is Spain’s version of our April Fool’s Day.
(Seriously, Spain, why December 28th?)
We reached out to SFX, and received a response from Tomorrowland. They state that SFX is not currently looking into other countries for Tomorrowland, and they’re happy with the three festivals that they already have in rotation; and while they’re also happy for the enthusiasm from the Spanish people, they can experience Tomorrowland via their Discover Europe packages, same as last year.
