Since coming out last October, “Throwin’ Elbows” has quickly become one of the most popular songs in all of EDM right now. And it certainly stands to reason why two of dubstep’s fastest growing artists in Getter and Virtual Riot have teamed up to remix the original banger Excision and Space Laces.
Unsurprisingly, this one is about as aggressive as aggressive gets. Listening to this for the first time physically made me want to tear up my room. The track’s frantic energy starts with an energetic rock-inspired build up before the iconic ‘give me some room’ lyric comes in and all hell breaks loose in the drop.
