The Spanish DJ had flagged the comeback ahead of time as a personal milestone, describing the goal of returning to the festival as one of the driving forces that carried her through seven months of treatment.
In comments shared before her set, B Jones said she hoped her comeback would carry a message of resilience for the wider dance community, encouraging anyone facing hardship to keep pushing forward. She added that if her story helped even one person hold onto hope, the decision to share it publicly would be worth it many times over.
Her set landed on the festival’s final day of Weekend 1, alongside performances from Calvin Harris, Alesso, Chase & Status, Avalon Emerson b2b Ben UFO, John Summit, and Amelie Lens. The day’s other headline story also broke that morning, with Charlotte de Witte confirmed as Tomorrowland’s surprise Mainstage act, 15 years on from her own festival debut.
