Dim Mak Records is set to release Felix Cartal‘s up and coming ‘Past, Present, Felix EP‘ next week and his latest upload “New Scene” featuring Ofelia is a single from the EP; a wonderful teaser as to what we can expect! His progressive sound is coupled perfectly by the mesmerizing vocals of Ofelia. Seasoned by his extensive touring schedule he has recently ended, Felix comes back with a new outlook and evolution of his sound.
Felix commented on New Scene, “This is one of my favourite songs i’ve ever written. Ofelia and I wrote it out in LA, and her vocals are absolutely beautiful.” The ambient dreamstate sound reminds me a lot of Kaskade‘s ‘Fire & Ice’ Album, which I hold in the highest regards.
