With a fresh release out this week, Jane XØ is back with her elusive brand of electro/trap/pop under her mysterious alias some believe is a cover for an already well known, established act. Whoever Jane XØ maybe, her music – and voice – is just as captivating as her incredible back story.
Her only concern being the music she creates, it’s given XØ the freedom to be creative in the studio, and ‘Let Me Down Easy’ is further fruits of such labor. Interchanging between downtempo stillness and raucous trap intensity, the beats within ‘Let Me Down Easy’ are complemented by stunning vocal tones, both combining to be gritty yet girly all at once.
