“Meta” by graves is a solid hip hop tune with electronic undertones, but it could be considered a little too far in the hip hop spectrum for some of the harder dance music heads. To that end, CRWNS is here to provide respite for those souls who wanted a bit of a harder hit with their hip hop.
With melody and rhythm still mostly intact, CRWNS executes one of the most unique sound arrangements in trap that we’ve heard this year. You likely won’t be in any most pits when this song drops, but trap arms are guaranteed to be in effect. The staccato rhythm just plays perfectly into that natural motion of elbows bouncing side to side, face contorted, wondering just what the fuck you’re hearing right now.
