Welcome to the first edition of Techy Tuesday! Every Tuesday we will recap on some of the top tracks from the more underground genre’s of Disco house, Tech house, and Techno.
With Electro house, Dubstep, and Progressive house dominating the American rave scene, the smaller generes of EDM have gone mostly under the radar here in the United States. Techy Tuesday’s is a chance to explore other genre’s of EDM that you would not typically hear at a big-room festival. So without further ado, let’s dive in!
The first track up is Freak It! (Original Mix) by Whitenoize. Drawing inspiration from Le Freak by Chic (Early 70’s disco), Whitenoize brings us their house rendition of the hit song which gives the tune a modern, and dancy feel that is sure to get your feet tapping.

The next track is from the Tech house/Techno mastermind, UMEK. Focusing on short rhythmic loops, UMEK gives us a catchy tune that revolves around the addicting main synth line that has all the components for an instant dance floor classic.
Unclear Mechanics (Original Club Mix)
The last track in our installment is from the recently formed group called Dog Blood. Dog Blood is the dynamic duo of Boys Noize and Skrillex. With Skrillex’s heavy bass lines and Boys Noize’s hard techno sound, Next Order (Original Mix) is a dark, techno delight that is sure to create absolute chaos at any event.
